NZ Bookshop Day is just around the corner (Saturday 27 October)!

This year, your favourite booksellers have organised many events, competitions, activities and great deals all over New Zealand for you and your little ones… Here is a small selection (more info on events available here):

Howl-O-Ween at Time Out Bookstore (Auckland):$5 blind date with a book, Inside the Villains activities, book giveaways, tote bags, treats for your puppet…

Paper Plus in North City plaza (Porirua) is holding a “meet the authors and illustrators” event with eight authors, including Juliette MacIver, Kate de Goldi, Trish Harris, Gay Hay…

Marsden Books (Wellington) is giving back this NZ Bookshop Day! Go buy a book and give one to a school in central Wellington. More info here.

Scorpio Books (Christchurch): Make a purchase at Scorpio Books on NZ Bookshop day and nominate a Christchurch School to receive one copy of Aotearoa by Gavin Bishop, richly illustrated visual history of New Zealand. All nominated schools will also go into the draw to win a prize pack of New Zealand children’s books, specially selected by Scorpio Books.
