As part of the Readers and Writers Festival come enjoy a morning of children’s book readings by storytellers and members of Wellington’s diverse multicultural community.

Come celebrate the growing wealth of children’s books in Te reo Māori, Samoan, French, German, Swedish and Japanese with Gecko PressHuia and The Sapling. The Sapling’s resident crafter Fifi Colston will help the children make some picture book-inspired craft.

Younger readers and their families can delight in the illustrations on the large screen, listen to new stories and discover old favourites in a new way.

Lots in Translation is a free event, but you can register here!
