A Curiously Good opportunity: Publishing and marketing role with Gecko Press

Gecko Press is seeking a publishing allrounder with a focus on marketing for our central Wellington office. We are looking for someone with initiative, confidence and a deep interest in children’s books; a quick worker who thrives on getting things done.

This is a chance to join a small team in an innovative international company that translates and publishes books by some of the best writers and illustrators in the world.

The primary responsibilities of this role are to support our publishing communications and sales activity, to manage the Gecko Press website and digital marketing, and to build audience for Gecko Press and the Curiously Good Book Club digitally and through events.

The role will suit a person with three to five years’ experience in publishing, digital marketing, audience development and building engagement.

Gecko Press is an independent, international publisher of curiously good children’s books—books of good heart and strong character, excellent in story, illustration and design.
