Picture Me, a celebration of illustration for children,
brings the rich tradition of European children’s books
to Aotearoa New Zealand in a lively festival of art and ideas.
With events for adults and children, Picture Me will include discussion panels, networking,
an illustration exhibition and a mural painted by the illustrators over the course of the festival.
Workshops will engage children in the world of books through drawing, humour
and reading—in multiple languages.

![Aurore Petit illustrates for adults and children, and her many children’s books include the explorations of family A Mother Is a House and My Baby Sister Is a Diplodocus. Antje Damm is a celebrated children’s writer and illustrator whose picture book The Visitor was a New York Times / New York Public Library Best Illustrated Children’s Book. Piotr Socha is a graphic designer and illustrator, and the son of a beekeeper.
